Easy-to-use.
The Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device is especially small and handy to carry around. It is extremely simple to use and provides a practical lancet ejection function.

Virtually pain free testing.
Regular blood testing is a vital part of daily diabetes self-management. We know your fingertips can be particularly sensitive so blood glucose testing must be so gentle that for people with diabetes, even children, blood sampling involves no more than just a slight prickly sensation. Accu-Chek lancing devices achieve this by combining the following distinctive features:

  • Personalised comfort. With 11 depth settings on the Comfort Dial you can adjust the lancet depth to match your skin type and obtain just enough blood to provide an accurate test.
  • Patented Clixmotion technology. Clixmotion is the principle of dual-guided lancet motion meaning that both the forward and return motion of the lancet is precisely controlled without vibrations and oscillations. This special motion is the key to gentle blood sampling.
  • Precisely manufactured lancets. Specially designed Accu-Chek lancets are the result of exhaustive research. The special cut of the lancet and its smooth, polished surface mean that skin penetration is virtually friction-free and especially gentle.

Safety Advice: The Accu-Chek Softiclix lancing device is intended for patient self-monitoring by an individual person only. It must not be used to collect blood in a multi-patient setting as it does not incorporate any features to protect from cross infection.

How to use

How to handle the device.
Pull off the cap. Insert a new lancet into the lancet holder and push it in until it clicks. Press the Softclix cap on again until it clicks. Turn the Comfort Dial to the desired penetration depth and press the priming button until it clicks. Gently press Softclix against the side of the fingertip and press the release button. After measuring your blood glucose, pull off the Softclix cap and slide the ejector forwards to remove the lancet.

How to use the AST cap.
Remove the blue cap from the lancing device. Attach the clear plastic AST cap, and twist the dial until you reach your chosen setting. Prime the lancing device, and place the AST cap firmly against the selected site. Press the release button to lance.
